Orders & Custom Printing

FAQs

Below are some commonly asked questions with regards to custom orders of our textiles.

Who is eligible for your wholesale price?

Our wholesale price applies to any customer who plans to on-sell our fabric with 100% markup, or use it in their own products that they will in turn be on-selling at wholesale and retail prices. For example: fabric shops, online fabric retailers, independent makers.

Who is eligible for your trade price?

Our trade price is applicable to interior designers & decorators.

What is your wholesale/trade minimum?

The minimum order is 5 metres per design/colourway.

Do you offer bulk discounts for smaller orders?

For trade/wholesale customers looking to purchase smaller lengths of fabric, you may order from the textiles we currently have in stock at the studio. You will be eligible for trade pricing if your total order is 5m or greater. Stock subject to availability.

Do you supply basecloth or can I supply my own?

We have a standard range of basecloths that we typically use to print our range. However you are welcome to supply your own cloth. We can print on a wide range of fabrics, including medium to low stretch fabrics. Natural, non-synthetic fibres are best. Our pigment inks sit on the surface of the fabric, and are therefore less suitable for sheer fabrics than dye based inks.

Can I see some samples of your fabrics?

Our standard swatch set consists of all current designs in our range. It also provides a cross section of most standard colours & basecloths available. This set comprises of 12 swatches measuring approx 20 x 20cm, and is available for purchase in our online shop. A more formal Waterfall swatch set is also available for display purposes. Please contact us for more information.

Do you print your designs in custom colourways?

When printing our designs, we have a range of specialty colours for you to choose from. Alternatively, custom colour sampling can be provided at a rate of $40ph, which produces 3 to 4 colour swatches. Colour samples are based on Pantone colours (solid, coated) which you can select from our in-house swatch book if you do not have your own.

What is the lead time for wholesale/trade orders?

Please allow 2 - 5 weeks to print your order, plus shipping times. We are a small, boutique operation so these times will vary depending on our current workload and schedules.

How much would it cost to ship printed fabric to my country / address?

This very much depends on the weight of your fabric and where it is going. We typically send fabrics using Australia Post or Couriers Please. To estimate shipping costs you can use the postage calculators on either of these sites. Our medium weight textiles weigh approximately 300grams per metre, our upholstery weight fabrics weigh approximately 550grams per metre.
